Hi and welcome to Barkside Support VA.

I’m Petra, the face behind the business, and an experienced EA and virtual assistant.

With over 20 years of experience as an Executive Assistant in many different companies, global and local, from cybersecurity to food tech, I’ve built up a whole toolkit of skills that allow me to keep things running smoothly in any business. My curious mindset and never done attitude drives continuous improvement.

I’ve worked closely with C-level execs, senior leaders and global teams, navigating the fast-paced and ever-changing nature of these industries. Whether it’s managing complex travel itineraries from door to door, juggling meetings across multiple time zones or keeping customer comms in check, I’ve got it covered.

I’m all about being proactive, staying one step ahead and making sure everything ticks along seamlessly. Need someone who can handle matters with discretion, type at lightning speed, take minutes like a pro and keep things moving? That’s me.

I’m a natural gatekeeper, a great listener and endlessly curious – with a “never-done” attitude that means I’m always looking for ways to improve, streamline and support in the best way possible. Oh, and I know my way around Microsoft and Google Suites like the back of my hand.

When I’m not helping my clients be more productive I love to relax with a long walk with my dogs, or spend time in the kitchen trying my hand with a new recipe. When I get the chance I also like to indulge my love of motorbiking and all things Harley-Davidson.

I’m truly passionate about helping others succeed. Which is why as a virtual assistant, I am here to support business owners with the day-to-day stuff, even offering a dog walking service, freeing up their time so they can work more efficiently and ultimately reach success.
